Hi girls!
I’m Mila an intern at TET. These upcoming weeks, I’m going to take you along with my adventures in Bali as an intern at TET.
Let me introduce myself, I am 19 years old and from Amsterdam. I attended Geert Grote College Amsterdam and finished my Havo there, then I took a gap year to find myself 😉 just kidding!
My travels
I saved up for half a year so I could travel for half a year too! I started travelling in Sri Lanka with my best friend, I found Sri Lanka an incredibly beautiful place definitely recommended for backpackers too. Then I flew to Bali with my other best friend and from the moment I arrived in Bali I didn’t want to go.
We did and saw as much as we could within a month, from swimming with mantras, climbing volcano to partying until the lights came back on. Then we left for Thailand where it was a mix of beautiful nature and lots of parties.
After Thailand I flew to Vietnam on my own, very exciting but also a lot of fun. Vietnam super amazed me in terms of beautiful nature, I found the vast rice fields, waterfalls and high mountains super impressive.
And then I returned to the place I love most: Bali! After a month of super chilling, surfing and partying, I flew back to Amsterdam where I had a fantastic summer with all my friends. But I had to and would return to Bali and then TET. came my way they were looking for an intern and I an internship, so this was a super situation for both of us. I saw that they had a brand store in Bali, this came out super. I also read that TET. was a swimwear and resort wear brand this appealed to me initially. But what totally appealed to me was the story behind TET. that the swimwear was made of recycled plastic and that Lieke had moved to Bali in 2017 to turn the plastic waste in the ocean into beautiful recycled plastic bikinis then it was already a must for me to intern at TET.
My time at TET.
I have been here for about 1.5 months now and am having a blast. I do my internship during the week, we start each day together to discuss what you are going to do that day. For me, this often involves the PR of the shop, making fun content. For example tiktoks’s / reels, the stories and posts. I mostly do this next to the shop. I look for model/ influencers who fit our responsible brand. I do all of this from my laptop in the tastiest restaurants often with avocado toast and a delicious green juice.
On the weekends, I do surfing lessons, sports classes, go out for a nice dinner and also grab the occasional party 😉
I hope you got to know me a bit this way and that you will enjoy reading along with my adventures in Bali in the coming weeks. And hopefully see each other at the brand store in Bali!
xxx
