TET. Swimwear is an eco-friendly recycled swimwear, ideal for those who crave a comfortable swimsuit and want to feel good while wearing it. The main goal of TET. Swimwear is to offer a feminine product which is created to last. We have a mission to inspire all women around the world to become conscious of the swimsuit they will be wearing. Our entire collection is made from fabrics that are derived from Econyl and repreve fabrics.

At TET. Swimwear, we are all dedicated to maintaining the sustainability of the oceans by the use of econyl swimwear. Also, most of the swimsuits from TET. Swimwear are reversible and can be interchanged. In this way, you can wear a single swimsuit as a new one on two different days!

It’s World Contraception Day. We have listed a few birth control methods for men and women and how green they are:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Birth Control Pill: These hormonal pills can prevent pregnancy and regulating of your period. The pill isn’t a very sustainable choice as the hormones from it come out in urine and end up in the ocean and the packaging usually includes plastic. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The Implant and the IUD: The implant is injected into your arm and releases hormones that prevent pregnancy for up to five years. The IUD prevents the sperm from getting to the egg for up to 12 years and can also work as emergency contraception. Like the pill, these are not the most green choice because of the hormones that it releases into the ocean. But, because of their long life span they do not need to be thrown away often. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Condoms: Condoms are a disposible form and can also protect you from STDs. They aren’t a sustainable choice as they need to be disposed after every use. Usually, they are made of biodegradable latex but chemicals are added to them which disrupts the decomposition. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Tubal Ligation/Vasectomy: These are permanent birth control through surgerical procedures. Because of this, there isn’t packaging or hormones involved, making these sustainable birth control methods. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Temperature Monitoring: A woman measures their basal body temperature everyday to determine when they are on the fertile stages of their menstrual cycle and abstaining from sex in this stage. This is also a sustainable method, because it is not disposable.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
These methods are mostly for women, but remember it takes two to tango in the bedroom.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It's been said many times that the pictures on social media are not a depiction of real life but rather someone’s ‘highlight reel’. But that doesn’t stop posts on social media from having negative impacts on your confidence. Its easy to forget that what people post on social media is not the entirity of their life, leading to comparisons between your life and people online. And by seeing every good and bad part of your life, and only seeing the good in someone elses, you might quickly assume that your life is definitively worse than theirs. Not only that, but because social media is a platform for everyone, the algorithm might fill your feed with models and influencers with similar attributes, feeding into the standards of beauty that already exist in society. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But, it must be remembered that social media is not real life. Not only is it someone’s highlight reel, but it can also be a performance of a character someone wants to appear as, and not who they really are. And Instagram creates this idea that the majority of people fit an unrealistic beauty standard which isn’t true, there are so many different types of people in this world and you should love yourself for who you are inside and out. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
